It's art week and we're having some fun. This year I got into guitar art with Andrew. We designed some guitar patterns after looking at many examples and talking about them. We next got into groups of two or three. In those groups, we dicussed and conversed about joining designs and the final design. After we had found our final design, we took the strings off our guitar. We then found what colour would go best underneath our design and painted our guitar that colour. I am learning about each stage of painting guitars and how you have to prepare a guitar to paint it. See you next time,

School.
Hi. I have been away from school for a week. I have been sick with the flu. It was boring at home because I didn't do much except for sleep and do nothing. I have been at school for two days now. We have a new student named Amina. She has just got a new blog. She sits next to me in class.
Good bye

3 way conference time!
It's three way conference time! Three way conferences are not just between the teacher and the parents. It is between the child, parents and teacher. First, the child talks about their work, their strengths and their weaknesses. They explain what they have been learning about and how. The parents can input at any time. Jay (our teacher) then comes and says things about how well we are doing in class, what he thinks that we need to improve and what he thinks we are absolutely, positively wonderful at (but he doesn't need to say what I need improvement on, I don't need improving. I'm awesome!). My conference is next Wednesday, wish me luck!

Heyhey!!!!!
On Wednesday 13th of June, the Thorndon Senior Syndicate held a market day to fundraise for Stage Challenge. Stage Challenge has been going really well. I am really enjoying it so far. Especially because I have got a lead parent part. Tech is cool. I learned how to do long division and multiplication. I handed in my inquiry project on time and I was stoked about that. At market day our stall raised over $50 dollars. On Wednesdays we do art with Tash. We are making collages to enter into an art competition. We are entering an art competition and the prizes are $2000 dollars for the child (in a bank account) and a fas art supply for the school. I think that it is really cool. The art competition is for UNZ (Uniquely New Zealand)

We went to go and see Swan Lake on the 31st of May 2007. The unison was really good but the dance was boring. Swan Lake was the most boring thing that I have ever seen! it didn't help me learn anything.
G- I am grateful for stage challenge because it is really cool.
L-I have learned to make a bag at tech.
P- Ipromise to give 100%at stage challenge.
P.S I hope i get the part of the parent, but feel sorry for Lilliana. My favourite part of Swan Lake was the end, because it finished.
